The UpNorthTV Teleganza Teen Talent Search!
Due to the severe weather on March 3rd, the Finals of the Teen Talent Search were held on Monday, March 5th at 12 Noon. Performances were recorded and will be played back on UpNorthTV. We salute all of our wonderful contestants!
First Prize: Jenna Elsenheimer
Jenna receives $100 cash and a free recording session in the UpNorthTV studio!
Second Prize: Ellie McPherson
Ellie receives $50 cash as our Second Prize winner!
People's Choice: Ellie McPherson
Ellie was also named the People's Choice Award winner as voted by fan donations! That's good for another $50 cash prize.

Each night at the Teleganza, six popular music acts from across the region will perform live on stage, with music running nearly nonstop from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. In between main acts, young singers and musicians will perform in a Teen Talent Search competition with cash prizes:
- First Prize: $100 and a free recording session in the UpNorthTV studio, as scored by a panel of judges
- Second Prize: $50, as scored by a panel of judges
- People's Choice Award: $50, as voted on by fan donations!
Contestants in the Teleganza Teen Talent Search will be scored by a panel of judges (for First and Second Prize) and by audience voting (People's Choice: 1 vote for every $1 donated in the name of your favorite contestants!). Voting for the People's Choice Award stays open through the whole Teleganza, so vote early and vote often for your favorite Teen Talents! Proceeds from the Teleganza support UpNorthTV 97 & 992 and the “UpNorthTV Road Show for Charity,” an innovative program to provide free video production services to nonprofit organizations in northern Michigan.
